The Mirror’s Curse

In a dusty antique shop, Amelia discovered an ornate, full-length mirror. The shopkeeper warned, “This mirror carries a curse. It shows you what you desire most, but beware, for it can trap your soul.”

Amelia, captivated by its beauty, waved off the warning and bought the mirror. That night, she stood before it, whispering, “Show me my deepest desire.”

The mirror’s surface rippled like water before revealing an opulent mansion and a life of luxury. Amelia, entranced, reached out to touch the reflection, and her hand passed through the glass as if into another world. Panic gripped her as she struggled to pull away, but it was too late.

Amelia’s reflection smirked and stepped out of the mirror, while Amelia herself was pulled into its depths. Trapped within the cursed glass, she watched her reflection take over her life, enjoying the riches she had coveted.

Now a mere observer in her own existence, Amelia’s desperate pleas for release went unheard. The mirror’s curse had claimed her, a grim warning to all who dared to tempt fate and peer into its depths, for it was not one’s reflection that stared back, but a relentless, malevolent force.
